COVID-19 Consignor Updates

Due to the Covid-19 PAUSE order for Non-Essential New York Businesses, we have some updates and temporary changes to our consignor agreements along with some frequently asked questions answered.

We know this is a very difficult time for everyone, as it us for us. We ask that you have more patience than usual while we work through things on our side as we are adjusting to this new normal.

RE CONSIGNMENT PERIODS AND EXPIRATION DATES

All items in consignment that did not expire PRIOR to 3/15/20, will be granted an extension on their expiration date. Once we are back in the store and are fully operational we will be manually reviewing ever tag sold and extending their expiration dates to allow for the time missed from being closed without penalty.

RE EXPIRED ITEMS REQUIRED TO BE PICKED UP

If you have items in consignment that are due for pickup, we are extending the pick up dates for items until AFTER the PAUSE order has been lifted. We will not, under any circumstance go into the store to gather items to be picked up. We are 100% closed. We will also not tolerate any abusive ultimatums regarding items.

RE CONSIGNOR ACCOUNTS ONLINE

All items will be rung up by hand until further notice, and items added into the system manually. There will be a slight delay in how this happens, not sure exactly how this will work or how long the delay will be as we are not quite there yet. We very well may need to go back to the old days and not use a computer for awhile as it has become a logistical nightmare.

RE CONSIGNOR APPOINTMENTS

We know a lot of you are probably using your free time now to anxiously clean and purge, I am doing the same thing myself. At this time all consignor appointments have been cancelled. We will rebook appointments once the ban is fully lifted and we are able to do so.

RE Consignor Payments

Payments normally take approximately 30 days to process. They always take longer during tax and holiday season and you can now add pandemic to that list for obvious reasons.

RE New Consignors

We will not be accepting new consignors for a very long time unfortunately. We need to regroup and catch up on a lot of work before we can add more consignors and items to process.
